Hello! I’m Alex, 45 years old and a former entrepreneur. After years in the business world, I felt it was time for something new. I now happily run this cozy bed & breakfast in Nieuw-Amsterdam.

Nieuw-Amsterdam is a charming village in the Dutch province of Drenthe, known for being a place where Vincent van Gogh once stayed and painted. It’s less than three kilometers from the famous Pieterpad hiking trail and just a three-minute walk from the train station – perfect for hikers and travelers!
